I can imagine up to this point, but I think it's an open question whether it can be solved like this. The days when the humanities department was studying "department" as a "subdivision" are ending anyway, and whether the "national university" protects it or leads it to state-run "liberal arts liberal arts education" is one key issue. On the other hand, there are some questions about whether the humanities experts who have been produced anyway should be embraced by the national academic research professor system, whether they are actively engaged in public activities to care for the current humanities fans who are longing for humanities, or whether they should develop the reading public to lead them to the publishing/lecture market in the future, but not all of them are easy. It's not like whether schools train another popular humanities professor. There is no denying that the treatment of national academic research professors is improving and broadening the scope of the national academic research professors. However, will the humanities problem be solved again? Different levels are intricately intertwined.
By the way, what is "the usefulness of humanities"? Actually, isn't it a matter of complete disagreement here? It's not that it's useless, it's that there's no consensus. The state, local government, corporation, civic group, union, and the general reading public are all looking for the usefulness of the humanities, but they can't suggest it well. Blind "project leaders" are doing it, but that doesn't stop at being good at "beading," and that doesn't lead to universal consensus.
