I was so surprised to hear the word 'reverse coup' recently. It's because AI semiconductors are that important and attracting a lot of attention, right?

But coup d'état is not the same political situation as in the 1980s, is the AI semiconductor market?

Rather, I hope that the media is not trying to make a side effect that was only seen in political news in the 1980s...

In a way, it's natural, but we can't choose only one or very few AI semiconductor companies to collaborate on AI semiconductors.
Including the official position, I have repeatedly said that I will cooperate with domestic AI semiconductor startups as well as foreign countries, and if there is a good semiconductor, it is my main job to discover and use it. Our door is always open, and we continue to think, verify, and discuss which AI semiconductor should be used to be the most advantageous part for Naver.

However, depending on the situation, for various reasons that are difficult to officially say, sometimes the form of cooperation varies a lot.
I don't have much to officially tell you about Samsung, and it's only difficult to reveal, so pass for now..
As we continue to collaborate with Intel (more and more than expected), we are developing a structure and goal of self-realization of our collaboration companies and universities, so exciting stories are being created, and it's a collaboration that I'm spending a lot of time on..
I'm looking forward to it because we've already been working with Nvidia for a long time and there's something that matches the important topic of Sovereign AI.

We are always paying attention to the products and actions of various other companies and are contemplating the possibility of collaboration. The only criterion for judgment is whether it will be helpful to Team Naver's AI business. Wouldn't it be natural that any company can join hands if it helps?

I don't really show much interest or reaction to the media, but I'm concerned that there are too many articles about AI semiconductors not only between us but also between these companies.

Although the terms AI semiconductor war are correct, it seems that it will give students and young friends the impression that a company and a company are bitter rivals. In reality, I think that if there are research/development items that are like-minded, we can work together as much as we want, and rather, we need to meet and talk with people from different organizations to enrich the AI ecosystem.
